"Himno a la intemperie" at /nju:/ Ensembles Festival

Mari Carmen Antequera will perform next Friday, November 24, at 7:30 p.m. at the CCCC Center del Carme in Valencia, the work of Sergio Blardony Himno a la intemperie, written for violin and electronica about poems by Pedro Provencio. This concert is part of a tour that the Instrumental Group of València is doing throughout the Spanish geography and that has already arrived in Madrid and Seville.

"Himno a la intemperie" at Encuentros Sonoros Festival 2017

The work Himno a la intemperie, for violin and electronics, written by Sergio Blardony about texts by Pedro Provencio, performed by Mari Carmen Antequera at the 2017 Encuentros Sonoros Festival in Seville. It will be Sunday, November 12 at 8:30 pm. in the Juan de Mairena Hall, in a program that also includes works by Nuria Núñez, Julián Ávila, José Antonio Orts, Raquel García-Tomás and Eduardo Soutullo.

Lecture in SGAE

Sergio Blardony will give a lecture about his work within the program of the SGAE Foundation with students of institutes of the Community of Madrid. During the event, will be screened the video creation Tracto by the visual artist Marta Azparren with music by Sergio Blardony, and the saxophonist David Hernando Vítores will perform Pasaje, for tenor and electronic saxophone, about a poem by Pilar Martín Gila. The event will take place in the Manuel de Falla Hall of SGAE (Madrid), on Friday, November 10 at 11 am.

World premiere "Aural" at COMA'17 Festival

On Sunday, November 5, at 12 pm., the duo composed by Luis Fernández Castelló and Carlos Apellániz will perform the absolute premiere of the clarinet and piano version of Aural, a movement and resonance study. The concert will take place at the COMA'17 Festival, at CentroCentro (Madrid), and works by Zulema de la Cruz, Claudio Prieto, Bernardino Cerrato,  Miguel Bustamante and Mario Carro will also be performed.

Two works at the XXV Contemporary Music Festival of Segovia

On Saturday, November 4, two works by Sergio Blardony will be heard at the XXV Contemporary Music Festival of Segovia. The first one, Rastro de murmullos, for 4 soloists and 4 instrumental groups, will be performed by the UAM Orchestra conducted by Enrique Muñoz, at 13 h. in the Conservatory of Segovia. The second, at 19.30 h. in La_Cárcel Creation Center, will be La bujía de Stromboli, new version for ensemble, electronic and video that will premiere the New Ensemble of Segovia conducted by Chema García Portela. Both works contain poetic texts by Pilar Martín Gila, and the video of the second is by photographer and videocreador Eduardo Momeñe.
