"Metaphors of Metals" at XXXV International Composers Mallorca Meeting

On Monday, November 3, at 8 pm., XXXV International Composers Mallorca Meeting will host the performance of the work Metaphors of Metals, by Sergio Blardony for clarinet, violin and piano, to be performed by the Ensemble Kuraia. The concert will take place at the High Conservatory of the Balearic Islands, and you can also listen to program works by Kagel, Lazkano, Erkoreka, M.E. Luc and Schönberg.

"Tracto" at MUSLAB 2014, México

On Monday October 27, Tracto is displayed in the gardens of the National Sound Archive of Mexico, within the MUSLAB 2014 (International Electroacoustic Music Exposition), along with other works of Mario Mary, Jorge Antunes, Liz Helman, Massimo Davi and Luis Valdivia, among others. Tracto is a video art by visual artist Marta Azparren with music by Sergio Blardony, that explores the inside of a bass saxophone by endoscopy. The version displayed on this occasion will be the 4 audio channels.

"Piedra en reposo" at III Somelgrup Concert Cicle

On Saturday October 25th, at 19 h., Col Legno Ensemble will perform the work Piedra en reposo (1999), for two violins with amplification, by Sergio Blardony. The program also includes works by Ricardo de Armas, Jose Carlos Villena, Pablo Carrascosa, Aurélio Edler-Copes, Marc Garcia Vitoria and Miquel Angel Murcia i Cambra.

"Tracto" at La Escucha Errante 2014 (KLEM Festival)

The video and electronics 4 channels version of Tracto will be presented in La Escucha Errante 2014, Research, Sound and Electroacoustic Creation  Encounters, organized by KLEM Laboratory of Electronic Music in Bilbao from 17 to 19 October. This video creation by visual artist Marta Azparren with music by Sergio Blardony and collaboration of saxophonist Andrés Gomis, was conceived as part of the show "La geometría y el temblor". However, it has subsequently been shown at multiple festivals and venues around the world. This time will be displayed at ZAWP Creative Arts Space, Garabia Space, at the opening of KLEM Festival, October 17 at 7,30 pm.

"Tracto" at NeMaf Festival in Seoul

Tracto, video and electroacoustic version will be showcased at the NeMaf Festival, 14 Seoul International NewMedia Festival, held from 7 to 15 August 2014. This video creation by visual artist Marta Azparren with music by Sergio Blardony and collaboration of saxophonist Andrés Gomis, was held as part of the show "La geometría y el temblor" but has since been widely circulated as a separate work in festivals around the world.

"Tracto v.2" at Musical Night of El Carmen, Seville

Tract v.2, the instrumental version for bass saxophone, electronics and video of this video creation by Marta Azparren with music by Sergio Blardony, can be heard in the Musical Nights of El Carmen, which take place at the Conservatory Manuel Castillo of Sevilla, on Thursday 5 June at 8,30 pm. The work will be performed S3 (Spectral Sax Style), duo of Jesús Núñez (saxophones) and composer Juan de Dios García Aguilera (electronics), will perform a program that, in addition to Tract v.2, includes works by Ana Teruel, Fernando Villanueva, Robert Lemay, Juan de Dios García Aguilera, Eneko Vadillo and Arturo Fuentes.
