Premiere of "Tracto v.2" Contemporary Music Festival of Córdoba

The XVII Contemporary Music Festival of Córdoba will host the premiere of Tracto v.2, the instrumental version for bass saxophone, electronics and video art of this videocreation by the artist Marta Azparren with music by Sergio Blardony. It will be on Friday, March 28 at 8 pm in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music Rafael Orozco (Córdoba, Spain). The premiere will be played by S3 (Spectral Sax Style), the duo of Jesus Núñez (sax) and Juan de Dios Aguilera (electronics). The program will also be comprised of works by Ana Teruel, Eneko Vadillo, Juan de Dios García Aguilera, Robert Lemay, Arturo Fuentes and Fernando Villanueva.

Pre-premiere of a new work for bass saxophone and piano

On Tuesday March 11 at 19.30 h. will be held pre-premiere of ...Y los árboles se convirtieron en reyes, bass saxophone and piano, by Sergio Blardony, commisioned by Duo Sincronia. The concert will be at the CPM "Javier Perianes" of Huelva. In addition to this piece, the program also includes works by A. Teruel, J. Torres, C. Cherry, N. Walsh, J. González, A. Ramirez and N. Romero interpreted Senk. The official premiere of ...Y los árboles se convirtieron en reyes will be performed by the same musicians in EurSax 2014, which this year takes place in Spain.

The book of poems Ordet by Pilar Martín Gila contains a CD entitled "Hacia Kjaer", that contains two parts: the work of Sergio Blardony Entre el murmullo y el vuelo, for soprano and bass saxophone, actress and electronics, from texts on this collection of poems, and an improvisation around musical materials Blardony work (also with texts of poems collection) by Chefa Alonso, Ildefonso Rodriguez and Peter Memmer. The book-CD has the excellent performance of Andrés Gomis (sax) and Prado Pinilla (actress), and is published by Editions Amargord in their Transatlántica / Portbou collection.

OCAZEnigma perform "Donde acaba la esfera" in Vitoria, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Seville

The tour's ensemble includes in its program OCAZEnigma the work Donde acaba la esfera, for 6 instruments, by Sergio Blardony. The piece was commissioned by the ensemble, premiered last October 20 at the Canal Theatre in Madrid. Throughout this November you can listen in the X Bernaola Festival of Vitoria (day 7, 8,30 p.m.), in the Galve Hall of Auditorium of Zaragoza (day 12, 8,15 p.m.), in the Alicia de Larrocha Hall of Auditorium of Barcelona (day 29) and Espacio Santa Clara of Seville (day 30).

World premiere of "Donde acaba la esfera" by OCAZEnigma at the Canal Theatre

On Sunday October 20 at 12 p.m., the OCAZEnigma ensemble will perform the world premiere the Donde acaba la esfera, for 6 instruments, by Sergio Blardony, work commissioned by OCAZEnigma. The premiere will take place at the Canal Theatre of Madrid, in the IV Festival Ensembles. In this same program also works by Consuelo Díez, Guillermo Lauzurica, Gabriel Erkoreka, Mario Carro y Jesús Torres, and a panel discussion with the participation of the last two and Sergio Blardony.
