"La geometría y el temblor" in CentroCentro, Madrid

After representation at Matadero Madrid in Sound-In, the show "La geometría y el temblor", in which is included the work Entre el murmullo y el vuelo by Sergio Blardony with texts by Pilar Martín Gila, visits another Madrid space, CentroCentro auditorium, opening the Favorables cycle. It will be on Thursday, October 17 at 20 p.m., with the usual artistic team: Prado Pinilla (actress), Andrés Gomis (saxophones) and Antony Maubert (electroacoustics), with staging by Marta Azparren and lighting design by Sergio G. Dominguez.

"La geometría y el temblor" in Sound-In, Matadero Madrid

On Thursday October 10, at 9 p.m., In Hall of Music of Matadero Madrid, will be performed Entre el murmullo y el vuelo, work for saxophones, actress and electronics by Sergio Blardony, inspired by the book of poems Ordet by Pilar Martín Gila. This work is part of the show "La geometría y el temblor", a stage proposal involving music, poetry and visual arts.
The show contains other pieces: Tracto a video art by Marta Azparren with music by Blardony, and Lo que empieza a ser contorno, by Edith Alonso, for bass saxophone and performer of electroacoustic about the book of poems La habitación amarilla by Juan Carlos Suñén. The staging is done by Marta Azparren, lighting design by Sergio G. Dominguez, and performers are Prado Pinilla (actress), Andrés Gomis (saxophones) and Antony Maubert (electro).
The event, in collaboration with the XX Festival Punto de Encuentro AMEE, takes place in the context of Sound-In, sound art section of fair Estampa, held at Matadero Madrid from 10 to 13 October.

Trío De Magia performs the world premiere of "La bujía de Stromboli" at the XIII FestTC 2013

On September 29 at 7 p.m., in the theater of the House of Culture of Tres Cantos (Madrid), the chamber group Trio De Magia premiere La bujía de Stromboli, work for saxophone bass, piano, percussion, electronics and video, with texts Pilar Martin and Eduardo Momeñe video. The piece was commissioned by the XIII International Contemporary Music Festival in Tres Cantos and is written for the Trio De Magia, joining in the show "The uncertain paths", part of the show "The uncertain paths", an interdisciplinary project which also includes works by Pierre Jodlowsky, Alberto Posadas, Voro García and Roberto Lopez-Corrales. Stage direction is by Carles Gómez Vicent Royo and is responsible for the sound system, as well as a series of short electroacoustic pieces that join pieces together. The concert features LIEM technical support.

The Kuraia Ensemble performs "Metaphors of metals" in the COMA´13 Festival

The Green Room of Teatros del Canal will be the place where on Sunday September 15 at 12 a.m., Kuraia Ensemble, conducted by Andrea Cazzaniga, will perform Metaphors of metals, Sergio Blardony work for clarinet, violin and piano. Also, the ensemble will perform works by E. Lawrence J. Susi, B. Cerrato, J. Jacinto and E. Alonso. The concert will take place in the context of XV International Contemporary Music Festival of Madrid COMA'13.

"Tracto" is displayed in the EXiS Experimental Film and Video Festival Seoul

From 4 to September 11 will display the work Tracto in the EXiS Experimental Film and Video Festival Seoul, a sample of the latest Spanish video art coming to South Korea through MADATAC, Spanish video art festival held each year in Madrid, and selecting a number of works for other festivals. Tract is a piece of visual artist Marta Azparren, with music by Sergio Blardony, part of the show "La geometría y el temblor".

Gombau Trio releases "Luz de campanas" in Laredo ClassFestival

The world premiere will be performed by the Trio Gombau, formed by musicians Carlos Galán (piano), Carlos Benito Gala (violin) and Alberto Gorrochategui (cello) on Wednesday August 21 at 8.30 pm. in the Church of San Francisco in Laredo (Cantabria, Spain), within II Laredo ClassFestival concert dedicated to the music of the XX and XXI centuries. In addition to this first performance of the play Luz de campanas ("Light of bells") by Sergio Blardony may hear works by S. Dodgson, S. Hough, G. Ligeti, Raquel Rodríguez and G. Gershwin.
